A crowd of hundredths of people wait desperately while shouting their anxiety off. The Radio City Music Hall is full of restless fans that have been waiting for this concert for a very long time. The place is hot and the smell of long-produced sweat fills every inch, but nobody minds: it’s all worth it, it’ll soon begin. Everything is dark, and then suddenly a sea of lights fills the hall and the emotion takes hold of every person, making the stadium vibrate with every jump, with a constant expecting frequency.
The group is out, they make their appearance and everyone is joyful. My favorite musician comes out to stage and his awesome black long hair is illuminated by various lights. For those on the front row who have a clear view, his eyes look calm and anxious to start playing, but he doesn’t draw the attention by screaming or jumping. He just rapidly takes his place at the left of the stage. With the first chord of his bass, he transforms into a different person. His body produces adrenaline, and his fingers move at an incredible speed. His head begins to move, and his whole body starts getting a rhythm that soon holds him, making him show the only moment when he seems to express too much emotion, when the music takes hold of him. It’s as if the music was a drug, as if it took all the emotion and energy out of him for the entertainment of every fan who is watching amazed. Before laying his hands on his bass, this guy is shy and people wander if he ever talks, for he barely speaks in interviews and documentaries. He’s the type of person who has so much to give, but he keeps it all inside. His eyes are kind and there’s a mysterious look in his gaze. He’s very peaceful when not playing, but when the music starts, when he first strikes the first notes on his bass, his hands act as if they work automatically, and every note is as if played by a god.
As his personality transforms, the other members of the band and him create a frequency that synchronizes with everyone’s heart and they make a music that fulfills everybody’s expectations. Everyone jumps to the vibration; everyone is united through the music, as our bassist develops a personality that lets him scratch every string on his bass. This is my favorite musician because he really shows the effect the music has on him, and he really loves the music he plays with his bass. He warms off after every time he has a presentation and he rehearses for over five hours a day. This is the best bassist I’ve hear, and he makes part of my favorite group. I love his personality and he makes me laugh every time I hear him speak. This is my favorite musician, and if you are interested in listening to his bass skills, his name is John Myung.
