Arrival at Bogota’s Airport

The airport of “El Dorado” is the only international airport in Bogota, counting with two terminals for passengers: “El Dorado” and “Puente Aereo”.  The Airport was built in 1959, and it is the centre of operations of the second airline created in the world: Avianca.

Located at Bogota’s northwest, El Dorado has the second largest landing field of the world. The Airport counts with a variety of duty- free shops and food places that make the airport comfortable for the tourist and the traveller.

For the traveller’s convenience, El Dorado counts with a national bank “Banco Popular” in which it is possible to exchange dollars for the national currency, at a lower price than any of the other bank’s branches in the city. El Dorado also counts with free Colombian coffee inside the custom area for the travellers comfort.

“El Dorado” counts with a secure taxi transport system, facilitating traveller’s access to taxi cabs called by the Airport. With this, the traveller can be confident of arriving safely to his destination.
