Downtown Bogota
by Camilo Russi

You can not say you know the Colombian capital until you have visited down town Bogota. The center of Bogota groups most of the urban culture within the city, and in addition gives you the opportunity to stare and even participate in a large variety of street theater. In the opportunities I’ve had to go down town Bogota I have been to places I ought to recommend you, which are appropriate to expand your general culture and have a pleasant afternoon. The Golden Museum, Fernando Botero Museum, the “Casa de la Moneda”, Nariño´s house, San Carlos palace, the MAMBO (The Modern art Museum of Bogotá), the “quinta de Bolívar”, the Candelaria, the “Chorro de Quevedo”, the Planetarium, and others are spots that for sure will make you have a high-quality day. In addition, while you walk through the colonial streets, and nearly throughout everywhere, you will probably encounter with entertaining street theater that makes your walk more pleasant. Here are some videos and samples of what you could find.
